Things I see right infront of me, are not what the appear to be.
I stare deeper and deeper into my reflection seeing a person noone wants me to be.
Everyone wants the beauty queen, the girl they look twice at. The girl with curves and a stomach thats flat.
It's hard to get that way, with all the taunting and the words they say.
Fat, ugly, stupid, dumb. Average words but they still make you numb.
I try to be what everyone wants to see, but it's not to achieve all the expectations in our society.
People always tell you to be confortable with who you are, but why when people don't accept you if you're not a golden star.
They don't realize, not everyone can come out a rose.
We instead start out a daise that in time starts to grow.
No, I'm not the perfect, pretty, skinny, smart girl people say they want and need.
So let them drown in their greed.
The world is my mirror, as sad as it seems.
But, the world isn't perfect...
So why should I be?
