Train of Thought
I slowly stepped abroad the train.
A step, a trot, a glance
in this or that direction.
The train begins to advance.
A sign with destinations
simply states: UNKNOWN.
My mind is running
in all different directions.
A lingering bird, a distraction,
fly's past a window.
The train slows to a halt.
My mind is blank.
I began to walk around.
There was no one else on the train.
I was alone.
The trains walls were lined
with huge murals.
I began to think about these paintings.
But the train slowly started to pick up speed.
