We Take a Walk in the Park
We take a walk in the park, shy to look at each other's eyes.
Not knowing what to say, catch each other by surprise.
But we can both surmise, there is no need to improvise.
We say our goodbyes waiting to reveal what our love truly underlies.
On my way home, I kick the rocks on the floor.
Thinking that I should've kissed her, in front of her door.
My mind is like a camera, it takes pictures of you.
Looking at you, is like looking at the whole world view.
I wouldn't hesitate, I know you'll appreciate,
the love that we create, will move and accelerate.
When you hold my hand, I will let it be.
One day I'll kneel and ask, will you marry me?
I don't need a wedding ring, just a heart to love you with.
We take a walk in the park, oh our love will spark.
It'll create a fire, to help us survive in this dark.
I want to be your mark, to tell others that I am your ark.
