Why??
The question with no answer.
It’s one word, one syllable,
Yet it goes unexplained.
Why?
This one simple question has the ability to stop time.
You can ask it as many times as you’d like,
But it just keeps going.
Scientist ask it all the time,
But often only find the “how”.
You can create as many surveys,
Do as many experiments,
But you can never find the real reason.
Why?
Go ahead.
Start asking yourself why?
Ask others.
You'll drive yourself insane trying to figure it out.
Ask a murderer why they kill.
Ask a rapist why they rape.
Ask a kidnapper why they kidnap.
Ask a middle school bully why they think it’s ok to bully.
Most people (scientist) will tell you it’s because they were abused, raped, or bullied themselves.
But if you ask those killers, rapist, kidnappers, and bullies why,
I bet half of them couldn't even tell you.
Why?
I don't know why.
I guess that’s how it’s suppose to be.
So don't ask why or why not,
Because life would be boring if we knew all the answers to everything.
Wouldn't it?
There would be no imagination,
No wondering.
We would ask a question only to retract it.
Why?
We already know the answer,
So why say it.
Just face it.
We all need a little why in our life.
