In The Sun
March first, gloomy, gray
However, an important day
Not for all, but for one
Would finally get to see the sun
An apple a day may have kept the doctor away
But also led someone astray
Kept her mind on the run
Kept her lying to her son
Trapped her lying where she lay
Trapped her into thinking she was okay
But on this day she had won
And would finally have her day in the sun
