Beneath the diamond finger,
Crush the luscious life of what
A gorgeous rose petal once was
Beauty from within
Pounds a repulsive chant
In need of a drunk beat
The moan, a symphony
Of bitter screams

I was inspired to create this dreary piece from a fantasy situation of a marriage gone wrong to show how our country has so many divorces and what creates them.
