Running down the hallways,
Running from pain.
Can you feel it?

Turning down the shame
Which lurks in my heart.
Can you feel it?

I see the door which says:
"Peace".
Can you feel the peace,
Shining and trying to burst from the door?

Run! Run!
Almost there...
Reach for the door.
Turn the knob.

Run inside feeling the burn of peace...
Only to find the burn to be the hatred...
Of myself.
Can you feel it?
