Lo and behold the mighty chicken!!!
with it’s crimson helm, and
scaled armored legs.
It feeds upon,
the powerful, and corrupt.
It is a knight,
clad in nothing,
but feather breastplate.
A legendary beast,
one of amazing prowess.
Who else could resist,
the mighty basilisk?
The chicken,
with its mighty war cry,
did tear the fowl beast asunder,
in a mighty shout.
This noble beast,
who lived in peace,
was soon betrayed.
Humans,
freed from the terrible maw of the basilisk,
soon turned on their savior.
They chose instead,
to savor him.
The chicken looked upon,
his fallen brothers,
heroes in their own right,
cut down by the humans.
He felt that his end was near,
so he let out a final cry,
to honor his comrades.
But was droned out,
by cries instead of...
