Nature's Beauty
Fog in the forest,
making the day look mysterious
making it hard to see
making the day look lonely.
Sun in the sky,
shining like diamonds through the naked trees
making me squint in order to see.
Not only do i see it, I feel it,
I feel the UV rays on me
warming me from the coldness in my feet,
melting out the snow.
Winter-breeze in the air,
leaves on the ground,
I can see the beauty of nature,
it's breath-taking.
It cannot be replaced
with an 150-story skyscraper
or the sewer smells of the city,
the loud talk
and traffic noises
that overflow the space
around the city.
Causing chaos in the city
you can't find peace,
while there's calmness
in the forest.
The city lights
can't outshine
the beautiful eyes
of nature.
The fresh air
of grass, flowers and trees
cannot be found in the city.
This divine nature
surrounding us
takes over me,
wraps me around its arms
and makes me feel welcome.
