I believe that it is a Mother's instinct
To be authentic, natural, and distinct.
A role that accommodates good and bad
To expect to feel happy, mad, and sad.

Mothers have been trained to protect
And earn their God given respect.
Shoes that are hard to fill
Must be talented with a devoted will.

It's of Mother Nature to be around all
Who may stumble from a great fall.
With the finesse as a tennis player hits a ball
A mothers love can be adequate to all.

Willing to put their life endangered for their child
Can be guaranteed to make anyone smile.
She's not just a pretty face you see
But more of somebody to strive and be.

Mother Nature is gentle, yet rewarding and gratifying
And eternally fulfills the achievement of winning.
God bless all the Mothers who specialize this action
And let them feel overwhelmed with satisfaction.

The author's comments:
I wrote this a couple days before Mother's Day this year. My mother and grandmothers was what inspired me to write this poem. The less I thought about making the poem perfect, the better the words came flowing through my mind. I hope people will view mothers in an uplifting positive sense. They do so much for all of us and are always there to make us feel better when life throws us curve balls.
