If time stood still, there would be no change.
Not a hair out of place, nor a winner in the race of life.
Love wouldn't be stolen in mixed emotions and stuck in time capsules.
Beautiful pictures wouldn't have to be worth a thousand words;
words wouldn't be spoken to judge whether they were beautiful or not.
Age wouldn't be just a number; it would be true value to how much wisdom was gained on Earth.
Friendships could be spared and relationships would remain as a whole.

If time stood still, then where would the purpose be?
Not one swift move of a pen could create any masterpieces.
Hope would lose the meaning of hope because there would be no place to go.
The Word would remain untouched by its curious followers.
The sun, the moon, and stars would stop taking turns to bring light and darkness into the days where we need it most.
There would be no Judgment and no end; eternal happiness would lay undreamed of,
and in need of someone to bless.
