A beautiful girl with dirty blond hair
Is truly amazing but thinks not many care
Doesn’t see all her beauty, both inside and out
Has such a compassionate heart, never lets out a shout
Has been though some rough times, but some could not tell
Pretends like nothing’s wrong and she plays it off quite well
But I can see right through that, I can tell when she’s upset
It’s because we’ve been best friends since the day we met
We have a true friendship, one that won’t fall apart
She spreads so much love, and it fills up my heart
And I will always love her back because she’s more than a friend
She’s like a sister that will be there till the end
These days some people will use you, some will teach you,
And some will bring out the best in you, like you do
And she is so special, for she means so much to me
We don’t lie to each other because honesty is key
If you haven’t figured out of course this girl is you
But you are so smart, you probably knew
Please remember all these things, every word that you read
Because, Allison Janney, I meant every word that I said

I wrote this for my best friend whom I've known since 6th grade. I wanted to let her know how much she means to me, and as we go our separate ways for college, I want her to know that I will still always be there for her.
