My Name
You set things back,
Life isn’t a clock
No change no alter
Why can’t you hear me
Is it because you took my voice
Please give it back, please
I will beg and beg till it happens
You say never will I get it
I cry and swim in my tears
I feel your hatred now
Like a flamed blade cutting me
I cannot ignore it, I fall
I fall till I hit the ground
There is no ground
I have no feet
But is there an end
I wish I know, but I’m not allowed
I can’t be smart, funny, or even dumb
What can I be
I can be nothing
I can be shame
But those are all names
I can’t have a name or label
Nothing shall describe me
When they say my name
They say nothing
No description of me at all
I guess you can call me ______________
