Forgive Me
Forgive me father
You know what I've done
I've been a terrible father
And even a more horrible son
There is not a day I can go
Without thinking of the things that I've done
And the things that I've said
That I will take back and then later forget
Every morning I wake up
My eyes are flooded when I'm thinking of you
Like the streets of New Orleans
When there was nothing they could do
But now I'll be the one
The one to provide for the family
I'll be the man of the fam
And I'll be there for them until the end of me.
