Candle Light
As the light dances
It has little time
Here before it burns out
But for now it may be free
From time that holds us down
The light from the candle doesn’t scream
It doesn’t laugh
It whispers
Into time
That makes us mad
Because just like the candle light
We have limited time
We may shine now
But we will burn out
So as I watch this light dance
And whisper
I see myself
Inside the flame
