Fading Awaysle

I had a dream,
but help me, please,
I can't remember what dream I dreamt.
It's slowly fading from my mind
like a sun-bleached photograph.
It was important and meaningful,
and I was inspired by it, once.
Now it's gone. It's such a shame
I can't remember what it was.
It wasn't childish, strange, or dull,
but full of life and meaning.
I had a dream,
but help me, please,
I think it's gone forever.
