His Poem

A poet grasps his pen
to tend to the gushing ink
that rains and forms his notions
into meaningful sets of letters
that fills every inch
of the thin, white sheet.
Every letter comes from
the flowing fountains of creativity,
words flowing ceaselessly,
never failing to catch entrancement
and captivate thoughts.
And the paper,
the sole witness
to all his thoughts,
inspirations, happiness,
despair and sadness
delivers the contents of his soul
for you to reflect
from the mirrors of your own.
