Finishing every last workout
Never slacking and working hard
My goal was made,
I was state bound.
Pushing harder and harder
Ignoring the pain
Going faster through the water,
I was state bound.
Arriving to the place
Swimmers everywhere
The long lanes and deep pool,
I was state bound.
The buzzer goes off
Water splashes everywhere
Swimming my heart out,
I was state bound.
