Things that trigger memories
In my house there are many things both big and small that bring back memories. Little things like old, chipped coffee mugs, old toys, scraps of wrinkled paper and things most people would consider junk. I have several old stuffed animals that carry many childhood memories. One being a red stuffed dinosaur puppet that often served as the "villain" when my sister and I played together. I have pieces of paper with sketches that I have now found indispensable, toy cars that have scratched paint, bent frames, and missing wheels that I cannot bring myself to dispose of.
