God, do you know silence?
Do you know peace?
Not the sort of absence-of-war peace,
But tranquility.
Calm.
Silence.
Silence, where if you listen - REALLY listen -
You can hear your own heartbeat,
And it can sense you listening.
So it tries to hush
And it slows down instead.
