Oh blazing Fire, proud Fire
You are the primordial one.
In your infernal reign,
You relish with death
But grant everything life
Both light on angel’s immaculate wings
and flames in Hell
Oh burning Fire, beautiful Fire
Only ramparts against the night
You become hope when the rage of the winter strikes
Radiant knight against the ice
Oh pure Fire, destroyer Fire
You hurt the flesh
But kill illness
You murder the lands
But make them rise again
Oh, how playful you are, Fire.
