Last Hope
We are broken
Not one of us is faultless
We have scars, imperfections, things to tear us apart
A haunting past, an intimidating future
 We are cracking
 Struggling to maintain control
 Clinging to our last hope
A burning light in the distance
 Slowly fading to a spark
 We are failing
We try so hard to reach that golden future
To understand the complexity of strife
 To be restored, satisfied, happy
Only to fall further than the start

 We are living
 We learn to escape
That our imperfections are not flaws, but strengths
 Things to build us up
 Ignorance cannot consume us forever
 We are breaking
 But in the best way
 These fractures define our souls
Without them we would be meaningless
 Boring, hollow, and unbroken.
