I'm living in the shadow
I have yet to see the light
I have tried and tried
But i have yet to overcome this adversity

I have yet to break away
I have yet to see the light
I have yet to break the shackles thats holding me down
hoping to 1 day be free

I'm hoping that i will break out
But it has yet to happen
1 day i waill escape this shadow
1day i will break free from these shackles

I'm living in the shadows
And im tired of it
I want to see the light
I just know i will be free, but i also know ill have to put up a fight
