Writers block
I sit there,
Pen and paper
In my hand
My thoughts,
Empty
Scanning the room,
In hopes to find inspiration
Nothing
The light of the lamp
Beating down,
With a yellow glaze
The sound of the clock,
Ticking, timing my every move
Everything is blank,
My mind,
My paper
I’m in a block
