Saftey
The blizzard of panic arises
When the sirens sound
Lights dart from surface to surface
Trailing the seething whispers
They are hungry and searching
Their shadows dance upon the walls
The strut in their chemical stench
With the rancid air that they breath
My grip on hope died
For tonight I was next
They stopped at the Brim of my door
And as The stench grew stronger
And their voices louder
Radios clicked on and off inside my head
I had been stabbed with fear
They forced their arms and bodies
In Through the door
They stood at the entrance
Their faces
Masked in black
I knew once their silhouette touched my flesh
That I was next
