Tough Love
It was that October night; I lost my sanity.
When I thought our love was all that mattered, you were making love to her.
Ever since, every girl you laid eyes on became a threat to me.
While my looks became my main priority, I knew you were always looking the other way.
As trust became hope, hope became, not enough.
Did you really think I could live my forever off of hope?
You controlled my emotions for two years too long
Finally walking away made me the bad guy.
But I know the truth.
I can see the hate in your eyes, though you refuse to look me in mine.
But this has always been a love hate relationship.
You did this to yourself.
How does the pain feel?
Hopefully twice as bad as mine did.
While your worst nightmare came true, my every dream did the same.
Take notes; he loves me right.
