Blue
Is the color of the sky
On a nice clear day.
The color of the water
When you want to play.
Blue is the rain
When it beats on
Your roof.
The color of a horseshoe
On a old horse’s hoof.
Blue is sadness
That takes over your time.
That you hear from children
When they whine.
The color of,
The big blue earth.
It’s everywhere
In this universe!
