Dreamer for Sure.
Teardrops falling on the floor,
Hollow throbbing in my core.
Seconds pass by, tick tick,
Run fast, can’t you see I’m sick?
Wishing I could run away,
Save the rain for another day.
Waiting by the lifeless phone,
Where has everybody gone?
Shallow light is pooling through,
But the dark is lingering, too.
It pulls until there’s nothing left,
Leaving you with shallow breath.
Throbbing heart and broken mind,
Look and see what you will find.
Push and pull and tear and shove,
To find yourself a little love.
Come with me and you will see,
Come with me and we’ll be a dream.
