We are bound to logic,
And reality,
But the planet is a sphere,
No corners at all,
And the sky isn’t the limit,
Says Baumgartner’s fall.
But how did dreams come alive?
Who came up with wizards?
And mermaids? Fairies?
Giant fire-breathing lizards?
When this imagination was unprecedented
And these thoughts were nonexistent.
Crazy fools they must have been called
But present’s fantasy fans,
Thankful and enthralled
When people can’t accept
Other races and religions
How can they blindly believe in
Ancient myths and legends?
What is the point of this poem?
To get a point across?
But I bind you to logic once again
Here you go, be free
Rainbow Oceans
and swimming in skies
Crying orange juice
and hailing pies
Layer dreams
No reality
Be free from
Logic

There is no specific thing that inspired me to write this piece, but I hope you can love poetry the way I do because of the reason that when reading poetry you can make want you want of the piece.
