A Broke Machine
I’m a broke machine,
At the age of sixteen.
Waiting to be repaired.
You probably never noticed my broken parts,
Because you never really cared.
You have damaged me as a machine,
And nothing can replace it not even a peen.
And so you let me sit there and ruse.
Lonely and useless, I think to myself,
That everything was a lie even what you called trust.
You took my nuts and bolts and kept me alive,
So I will wait for you to put them back so once again I will be revived.
And when you finally think you fixed me,
You noticed that you will never get me back,
Because you’re missing the key.
I locked you out,
And won’t let you back no matter how much you pout.
A machine like me can only be damaged so many times,
And I have decided I won’t be hurt no more,
And this is your last crime.
