A single king waiting on his throne
ruling his kingdom on his own
depressed from these decisions to make
not wanting his people to  call him a fake
“how can I rule a part of this world
when I couldn’t even save my precious girl”

A fallen king stands alone
with cactus eyes as dry as bone
“in this tower I’ll fly tonight
I don’t want to wake to the purest of lights

A broken king swaying from his own rope
left with so much power he couldn’t cope
now he roams the castles lonely walls
watching how his kingdom slowly falls

A new king waits upon his throne
feeling lost and all alone
