So sweet, so kind, he should be mine
Tall and brown, that’s how I like it
Makes me smile, every time he comes my way
Just like breakfast, gets you ready for the day
Feels like he’s the one for me
But I can’t break free
Friends say we like husband and wife
Will it stay that way for the rest of life?
He has big strong hands
So when I hold it I feel safe and loved
We laugh in harmony, like two songbirds in the meadowlands
Beloved
