Life of a Babysitter
Her face was like a newborn baby with rosy plump cheeks and big blue eyes
A smile as big as the moon
She giggled as she played with all her toys; the big blocks, the little baby dolls, and her favorite Tickle Me Elmo
She spun in circles to “dance” to “silly songs music” CD
Sang her ABCs as loud and as often as she could
At only two she could count to 20 and never let anyone forget it
Monkeys were her favorite animal, especially Curious George
She was usually cheerful, but sometimes that changed
The tears at 7:30 am , just because a tower of blocks fell down
But even through all the screams
Making me think, I’ll never have kids
But her making me smile, knew I would at some point have kids of my own
Making her the favorite part of my morning
