Her clear blue eyes glued to the floor
The same blue eyes that leak little tears at night
Tears of sadness
The sadness swims through the air
No other feeling envelops her
Just her sad story with
An alcoholic father
An abusive brother
And no mother

One sip from the bottle
One hard punch to her arm
Bruises building up
No one notices
No one cares
No one but her

Alone in her crude corner
The bright blue walls begin moving in
Tighter and Tighter
Until there is no space to breath
One last glimpse at the beautiful Barbie faces
One last look at her raggedy Ann face
There is no darkness
Just a white light and happiness

No one notices her missing
No one cares
She blurred away
The little memories they had of her burst into flames
Like the beginning of a forest fire
The ashes that remained blown away
Like leaves on a windy day
