Water Globes
For every man there is his world
Each one lives in his water globe
But most that I see are empty
For they find no purpose in existing.
Men are like shallow oceans
They crash wave after wave
Searching for truth and meaning
On the surface of the coarse sand.
But the truth they seek is far below
And may never be found
The ocean however will forever pound
Looking on the surface
As long as the moon is around.
So in their tiny water globes
When they understand what is beneath
Every man will bring a shovel
