Petal
The bark
Dark
And eerie
Against the pale blue sky
The leaves are hunched and weary
While on the trees they rely
Their Arms weave in and out
Like thoughts that carry doubt
But my solitude remains
Like the quilt of flowers
Unraveled on the terrain
A single fallen petal goes unnoticed
Under the bursting blossoms
And as it goes out of my focus
The memory of the petal is forgotten
