Found Poetry
The connection wasn't always there.
He never really appreciated her love,
Although he said he would always be there.
She tried to talk to him,
But her problems engulfed him,
And he couldn't seem to handle it.
His knowledge on teenagers had withered,
So he didn't know how to advise her.
Plus, she always seemed to have bad news.
He had to face his inner demons,
Because he was always gone.
So he sought help to try and patch up her wounds,
But that Friday night, she said goodbye.
