Alarming Clock
Bringing me back to reality,
Decapitating my hopes and dreams,
With your digitized cadence,
Like a bird’s weep for help.
I sky dive into Paris,
My safari seems infinite,
Before you murder the flora and fauna,
And ruin my peace.
Comfortably comfortable
Before your sound hits my ear,
Dwelling on the rim of my cartilage,
Piercing into my consciousness.
You, the humble thing you are,
With the darkness of obscurity,
With the electricity of lightening,
And with the voice of death.
Imaginings of soggy cornflakes,
With sparkles enveloping the stage
Of my unpredictable perception
That leaves me interested in frontal lobes.
A reminder that life is too short,
A reminder of my regrets,
A reminder of actuality,
And a realization of precarious innovation.
Yet you are the reason
That I value awareness,
And that I can rouse
To see the wonders of life.
The sharp tingle in my ear
Is worth my pain,
And the annoyance you cause
Is my miracle of existence.
