Postpartum
It's been months
since my body has been just me
Eating for two
Providing for one
A baby girl on the way
The day has come
my stomach full
ready to love
the baby girl here to stay
The pain is gone
the girl is out
she snores lightly
with my baby girl I lay
She cries at night
I shut my ears
and ignore her yells
why do I not love her
why do I push my baby girl away?
