Daddy's Princess
Can never do anything wrong
From the day she is born
She is nothing lower than royalty in his eyes
As a baby, when she cries
He holds her tight
His heart breaks when he cannot help
As soon as he can, he teaches her everything he knows
Protective is an understatement for what he becomes
As his baby grows up he doesn’t know what to do
They will fight because she just doesn’t understand
But no night is ended without an “I love you”
He so badly wants to be involved
Always there to coach her teams
He never misses a game
After many heart breaks
Daddy was the one man always there
And on that special day
When he must give her away
Tears will roll down his face
He’ll walk her down the aisle
With a proud smile
And during their dance he’ll hold he tight
And whisper “You look like a princess tonight”
