Untitled
You’re sitting in the car with a boy
And you’re trying so hard not to
Tell him that you’re in love,
That the things he says are so
Simple,
But they crash, thunder in your skull.
The doors are locked and you’re scared.
You never know why.
The top of the car is down but the doors are locked.
Yet you can’t escape.
And it’s raining.
It’s pouring on your heads.
You stare and stare,
Because you can’t look away.
You look until he doesn’t even
Look human anymore.
You see him for the pieces of himself-
His eyes,
His ears,
His nose,
His hair.
But he never sees you.
You are going nowhere
Together.
