Judging a book by it’s cover
I used to be scared of how people judged me
But now I don’t care what people think of me.
I always seemed to get nervous when people looked at me
I wanted to ask what they were looking at
But now people can look and judge all they want.
If I could go back in time,
I would give myself more confidence.
I never thought I’d be able to face people,
But I might be pretty good at it.
I can’t change how people are,
But I can change how they see me.
I won’t be fake and act like someone I’m not,
But I’ll act like me.
I used to care if people judged me harshly,
But now I could care less.
