Don't take me from this hour
Lord don't take me from this hour;
for this hour I came.
In this hour of darkness, Lord,
all glory to Your name.
I know there must be purpose
in trouble that's so deep,
And promises You make, my God,
You will always keep.
Though it's hard to hear You
through all the evil noise,
I keep my eyes on Heaven,
for focused eyes rejoice.
It's light and temporary,
this trouble that I face.
How am I to win the greatest prize
without running my race?
My heart fixated on You,
I'm running to You, Lord,
I run with You through troubles deep to earn my great reward.
