The Gateway Mall
the window reflects the faces of known reality, faces of those who do not think nor do they wish. the sun sets over the littered valley, the cluds turn grey and dark. people are speaking with their sharp edged tounges, they speak with hatred and stupidity. while some chatter about the happiness that god has given them. i sit in my seat in the middle of the crowded room, i watch and observe while others do as they please. i gaze around the sight that my eyes have layed upon me, utterly shamed and partially admirable.. i walk towards the door and leave the public bilding. i breathe the fresh air as my skin tickles by the touch of rain drops. i smile and start to walk home.
