When you look from the shore, what do you see?
Keep in mind, you haven't dipped your toe in to test the water.
Does the deep blue, glittering surface deceive you?
Are you shocked when you dive in? Does it surprise you when the icy cold overtakes you and you drown in the darkness?
Next time, be careful.
Check the temperature before you dive.
