Hallelujah
I saw a man enter Heaven once;
His last breath was Hallelujah
The priest showered blessings
Upon him,
In the hopes that His Lord,
Would receive Him
Peacefully.
He did.
I once saw
A sinner receive salvation.
Her first name was Eden,
And her first breath was Spring.
She was cleansed and made
Anew
By the blood of the Lamb.
I've watched Pharaohs and Pharisees
Enter the Kingdom
With lists and reasons as to why
They should have been in the
Other place,
But God is love.
And though Adam made him angry
And Eve deliberately deceived herself
Into thinking that she wasn't responsible
For our first death,
We don’t suffer for it.
There is room enough
For everyone.
No one gets
Left behind.
