Effortless Step
Have you ever walked
So close to the edge
You began to wonder;
What if you stepped off?
Imagine the life of a girl
Who craves that step
A calm, effortless movement
Falling gracefully
To the ground below.
A girl,
Who cannot stand next
To an unsympathetic rope
Without hearing her name being called.
Her thoughts have this way
Of mocking her life
Her brain,
Makes her believe she's disgusting
And as these thoughts crush her slowly;
She realizes her own mind
Has been rendered fatal.
Let your imagination run wild,
With the thought of this girl,
Now pause,
What if that girl
With the satanic and somber thoughts,
Was you..?
