Shadows
Do you wonder what lurks in the shadows?
Do you wonder what crawls and stalks you in the absence of light?
In the back of your mind you don't have to wonder because you know.
You see them. In the corner of your eye, you see them.
They can't reach out to you.
You can't hear them growl or pant or scream.
But you see them.
You watch them from the safety of your peripheral vision because their eyes are sweet evil.
Their darkness glitters and beckons.
They are beautiful, murderous, sweet, painful, and wonderful.
You see them.
Don't turn your head.
Don't look them in the eyes.
Don't dare to stare at those midnight orbs, and always ALWAYS leave the light on.
