The Sun Kissed My Hair
A spectrum larger than your rocking chair can carry your mind from planet to planet to space to place to nothing to things unsaid. I only couldn't grasp that such a mind as mine could experience a phenomenon meant for the great. But I'm laying in a lounge chair, all was triggered by a breeze that swept across my belly button. Like a giant missed his spring cleaning and, instead of dirt, he cleansed me of my tension. New ideas blossoming in my mind, a fireworks show before an audience who is just touching the corner of their mouth. Because, in this minute, I do feel loved. I find a foreign emotion from within my stone cold memory; belief. My mind isn't lying this time, I finally believe that, each night, the stars come out to sing me to sleep and that the waves of the ocean chase one another, racing to make sure I'm okay. But the best is still the breeze as it cools my rage and blows away the tears from beneath my eyes. It wraps me up and lifts my feet, helping me touch the sky. All int while I'm laying in the sun, my mind, for once, is what is making everything beautiful.
