Have it harder than most
Let us give them a hand
For being the best
Under all this pressure
They put on a smile
Some makeup and clothes
Try to pull themselves together
From last night’s break down
They’re an emotional wreck
Adults don’t seem to notice
They try to do their best
While making the best out of
These dreadful teenage years
